one of a kind original painting
as a kid i didn’t tumble. it just wasn’t my thing. and i hated being upside down because when a diving coach begged me to take up diving because i had ballet training, i was like naw. until finally, one day i didn’t want to do swim practice and so i did and then i jack knifed into the water and fractured a vertebra and so handstands were never on my dance card. until i took up yoga again and decided, i’m not letting myself be afraid. and so now. i can do it. and met a man who’s love felt like i did when i did my first solo handstand.
